Located between Cabo Roig and Mil Palmeras on the Orihuela Costa, Costa Blanca south – Campoamor is a small seaside resort popular with holiday makers and second home owners.
Not only is Campoamor well known for its award winning blue flag sandy beaches, the area is also popular for its golf courses which many golf lovers flock to each year to enjoy a game or two in the beautiful surroundings with the added bonus of the Spanish sun!
Real Club de Golf Campoamor being the most well known course in the area, with the emergence of Las Colinas Golf Resort, Campoamor is well established on the golfers map with two fine golf courses on offer.
Also within the proximity of Campoamor – Las Ramblas and Villamartin golf courses – so there are plenty to choose from!
Campoamor is ideally situated between the two main airports in the area of Murcia – which is only 20 minutes drive south and Alicante 45 minutes north.
If Golf isn’t your cup of tea, then there are still plenty of other activities that you can get stuck into, take advantage of the many water sports on offer up and down the coast, other sports such as football, bowls, tennis to name just a few. If you would prefer something a little more fun, then Playa Flamenca has its own Go Kart track which is only 10 minutes drive north.
Not far from Campoamor is the main Cabo Roig strip which is walking distance from the beaches, here you will find everything you need for the perfect night out, dozens of restaurants to suit all tastes, bars and clubs – and shops for your essentials.
The neighbouring urbanisations of La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Villamartin also offer more in the way of nightlife should you wish to have a change of scenery.
For the shopaholics out there, Murcia has two large commercial centre’s that you must visit, along with the main Habaneras shopping centre in Torrevieja, with more located in and around the many urbanisations between Campoamor and Torrevieja. Something typical of Spain that shoppers must visit are the local markets, the main two being Playa Flamenca each saturday and Torrevieja every friday. If you have transport, then Guardamar’s market would also be a good one to visit.
